Project information

The smart customised protective masks has been developed that can detect air quality and real time record detecting data for fighting against COVID-19. Indeed, it can be adapted for occupational safety & health and smart healthcare applications.

Novelty

  • A 3D printed customized mask equipped with a replaceable multi-layer filter, a wireless microcontroller and IoT sensors
  • A mobile application collects data from the smart customized protective mask and a cloud-enabled smart system
