Third Research Exhibition
“Technology for Future” is the theme of the third exhibition. Thirteen cutting-edge engineering research projects led by Professors in the Faculty of Engineering are exhibited in the Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing Two and online Metaverse. From the videos and displays, visitors will be equipped with knowledge of rationales underlying these projects and their methodologies to tackle the grand challenges. Further through interactive prototypes and functional exhibits in Innovation Wing Two, visitors will get even more detailed knowledge about how these research ideas have been translated into reality and create impact to our Future.
Time: 9:30am – 7pm on weekdays, and 9:30am – 1pm on Saturdays

Digitalization is the theme of the second exhibition. These projects address both local and global situations relevant to digitization. From the videos and displays, visitors will be equipped with knowledge of rationales underlying these projects and their methodologies to achieve the goal. Further through interactive prototypes and functional exhibits in Innovation Wing Two, visitors will get even more detailed knowledge about how these research ideas have been translated into reality.

Inaugural Research Exhibition
Engineering for Better Living is the theme of the inaugural exhibition. Twelve cutting-edge engineering research projects led by Professors in the Faculty of Engineering are exhibited in the Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing Two. These projects address both local and global situations and are categorized into topics of InnoHK, COVID-19, Emerging Technology, and Gerontology respectively. From the videos and displays, visitors will be equipped with knowledge of the rationales underlying these projects and their methodologies to achieve the goal of creating a better living environment. Further through interactive prototypes and functional exhibits, visitors will get even more detailed knowledge about how these research ideas have been translated into reality.

From the HKU MTR Station exit A2
Innovation Wing is located very close to the exit A2 of the HKU MTR station . There are 8 lifts at exit A2 connecting the HKU MTR station and the HKU Campus.
Turn left on the University Street
You will see the Haking Wong building in front of you.
Please turn left and continue walking at the University Street.


Turn right from the Innovation Wing One
Just continue walking for less than a minute and you will Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing One and then turn right.
Arrive at the Innovation Wing Two
Please continue walking for less than a minute and you will reach the main entrance of Innovation Wing Two.

Exhibition Area of Tam Wing Fan Innovation Wing Two
- Visitors should keep the exhibition area clean.
- Visitors should return the exhibit items / furniture to its original settings after use.
- Food and beverages are allowed only in areas designated by signage.
- Visitors are responsible for their personal belongings and property at all times and should never leave personal belongings unattended.
