  • Step 2. Import the 3D model to slicer (.stl / .obj file)

Use any object modeling software (e.g., Solidworks / Fusion 360) or download a 3D model online for printing. Prepare the object model in  .stl / .obj file format.

  • Step 3. Printing per configuration (.ctb file)

Use CHITUBOX software to do pre-configuration of the print job. Do slicing and obtain the estimated printing duration and estimated material for the print job. Download the g-code file into a USB drive.

  • Step 4. Turn on and initialize the SLA Printer

Please work with our on-duty technicians/tutors to turn on the SLA Printing, it will take about 5 mins to fill up the resin of the machine before it can be used.

  • Step 5. Start printing and post curing the model after it finished.

After the model is printed, remove the support and wash away the unsolidified resin with 95% Isopropyl alcohol. Put into Luna Cure for 30 minutes to speed up the curing process and maximize the composite final material properties

  • Step 6. Switch off the machine and clean up the workspace for the next user
