Introduction
Revita is a MedTech initiative under the Health AI and Technology SIG.
We are developing a health monitoring platform designed to enhance healthcare accessibility for seniors by enabling easy use of medical devices. The platform integrates AI to interpret medical data and provides a user-friendly interface that allows anyone to effectively manage and understand senior health needs regardless of their medical training.
Team Structure
Supervised by Dr. C.K. Chan from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, HKU Design, Build & Fly (DBF) Team is formed by over 25 students majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Due to the regulations of the AIAA and BMFA, an expert in flying and constructing a RC model aircraft is also necessary in the team. The role of pilot and advisor will be taken by him. With the lead by the team captain, the team separates into sub teams responsible for different main parameters of an aircraft, such as fuselage, wing, empennage, and internal mechanisms.

Champion and 1st runner-up @ British Model Flying Association (BMFA) 2022 University and Schools Flight Challenges
In June 2022, “Design, Build and Fly” teams from the Department of Mechanical Engineering dominated the Payload Challenge 5 of the British Model Flying Association (BMFA) 2022 University and Schools Flight Challenges. We were successful in taking home both the champion and 1st runner-up awards.
